Langtang Region Trekking

This is the third most popular trekking region in Nepal. That lies in the northeast of Kathmandu.
Trekking to this region offers the opportunity to explore Tamang villages, baffling extremes in topography with vibrant climatic conditions and to climb small peaks at a comfortably low elevation. Much of the trekking trail passes through semi tropical forests where mass covers the ground and rachides cling to free trunks. The Gosainkunda Lake situated in the region is a much-reveres holy lake for Hindus and Buddhist.
Langtang Valley Trek
Langtang is one of the lesser spoiled national parks of Nepal. Situated North of Kathmandu valley near the Tibetan border, it is the most easily accessible highland sanctuary from the capital. Langtang covers 1,710 sq. km. forming the upper catchments areas of two of Nepal's largest river systems - the Trishuli and Koshi. There is great latitudinal variation, starting at 1,500 m. and ascending to the top of Mt. Langtang Lirung at 7,234 m. As a result the park has immense ecological diversity. Some of the most attractive areas of the park include the Langtang Valley, the holy lakes at Gosainkund, and the forested hillsides above the village of Helambu.
Gosainkunda Trek
The langtang gosainkunda is close to the Tibetan border which is one of the world’s most beautiful valleys. It is a collection of Tamang valley. This holy lake has gained its belief among both Hindus and Buddhists. According to hinds Gosaikunda was formed when lord Shiva was saving universe.
Ganesh Himal Trek
Trekking in Ganesh Himal is not very often by the tourist, it is situated in northwest of Kathmandu.The massive piece of ice seems to fight with the sky. this area is mixed with all types of ethnic groups and their own lifestyle. This gives the visitors the opportunity of observing Nepalese culture. They can have closest view of Nepalese people which may grants visitors the sense of satisfaction.
Panch Pokhari Trek

Helambu Trek
The Langtang region is easily accessible from Kathmandu. Langtang area in itself is a good choice for those with limited time. In one week to ten days, one can visit Langtang area for trekking. The Himalayan views overall are not quite as spectacular as in the Annapurna or Everest areas, but they remain unforgettably beautiful. In addition, the trails are less crowded and the people are friendly.
Langtang ganja la Pass Trek
This trek begins at Dhunche and ends at Melamchi Bazaar. We make our way following the Langtang River to the east until we reach to Kyanjing Gompa (3049m). Kyanjing Gompa is surrounded by Mt. Langtang Lirung (7245m) on the west, Yala peak on the north, Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Urkeinmang (6387m), Loenpo Gang (6979) and Kangchenpo on the northeast. There are a small Buddhist monastery and a cheese factory started in 1955 by the Swiss Association for Technical Assistance in Kyanjing Gompa. A spectacular view of Langtang Lirung can be achieved during the pass cross. The highest point of this trek is Ganja~La Pass (5106m). On the very pass of Ganja~La, the last few 100m trail is precarious so we use a rope for safety and the utmost care is necessary.
Tamang Heritage Trail
The people of this region are mostly Tibetans who came from Kerung in Tibet across the border and settled in Nepal. In earlier days, the citizenship of Nepal would not be offered to real Tibetans, so they changed their ethnicity to Tamang, which is what they still write till date. The cultural and traditions of these people are similar to the Tibetan across the border.
Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek
This trek is considered as a non-technical trek and suitable for average people. If you are moderately fit and have a sense of adventure you will enjoy this trek. The program is designed to acclimatize you gradually and not to experience high altitude sickness. However you are requested to check your altitude fitness and the itinerary.
