Spring (March – May)
During Spring you will experience warm temperatures at lower altitudes and moderate temperatures higher up. The chances of clear, unobstructed mountain views are good, and it is also a good time to see Nepal’s flowers blossom.
Autumn (September – November)
This is the preferred trekking season in Nepal. You will be almost guaranteed excellent mountain views, but be wary – this is the peak trekking season in Nepal, so be sure to book your flights in advance and be prepared for more crowded trekking routes. During this time, you’ll also be able to see and participate in the biggest festivals in Nepal – Dasain and Tihar.
Mount Annapurna, the goddess of grain, is the first eight thousand meter peak successfully climbed by the French team, creating a history in the climbing world. This mountain is also one of the most challenging mountains and demands a lot of patient and technical applications.
Annapurna I, at a height of 8,091m, ranking the 10th tallest peak in the world, stands in the middle section of the Annapurna Himalayan Series with a latitude 28.53.37 and longitude 84.13.04. To the east of Annapurna is Manaslu of 8,163m and to the west the Daulagi of 8,167m.
Our expedition team will fly or drive to Pokhara, the most beautiful city of Nepal, where the team will spend 2 nights, making sightseeing and rest. Then we drive 42 kilometers to Birethanti and continue the trek till Annapurna Base Camp with all Sherpa crews, following the classical route to the heart of Mount Annapurnas with endless mountain scenery and a fascinating insight into the life of middle hill Nepalese. The most prominent ethnic group of this area is Gurung who are the most widely distributed being found from the hills of Gorkha till Palpa.
On arrival to base camp make final expedition preparation including, rope management, final checking of technical equipment, group discussion, rest, acclimatization etc will done. After all the preparation we will star establishing the camp I, II and III. Camp III is the base to summit.
Camp will be set and the expedition begins with our climbing Sherpas, most of the rope fixing will be done by our climbing Sherpas. The C3, the base to the summit, will be set at 7,400 meters. During the period of the setting of the Camp Three, all climbing member will have done up and down several times for a proper acclimatization. Date of the summit will be fixed depending on the condition of physical fitness and weather condition. Finally the summit day comes and if everything goes well than every climber get rewarded with a great success. The members who could not make the summit in their first climbing phase, second chance may be taken by the member under the permission of the expedition leader, which are the decision of the time.
All expedition material, including the food and beverages, will be transported to the base of Annapurna by chartered Helicopter before the arrival of the expedition members.
